CASH MONEY HAS MOVED ON TO MINNY

Since the Patriots are probably not going deep in the playoffs this year and Randy Moss will be playing for another team next season, it made sense to trade the future HOFer. Without Ty Warren and all the youth on the field, the defense was unlikely to be good enough to hold down playoff teams. The Patriots needed to get something for Moss and they did. But Bill Belichick should have traded Moss before the start of the season similar to Richard Seymour last year. The Patriots could have gotten more for the deep threat. Sixteen games of Moss is worth more than twelve. With 2010 not a Super Bowl or bust season, then Moss should have been traded earlier for more than a third-round pick.
