EL GUAPO’S GHOST RED SOX KEYS G.3

Game 3 - Dice-K versus Jake Westbrook at Jacobs Field

1) Patience is still a virtue tonight. Westbrook walked 55 in only 152 innings this year. Like Carmona, he is a sinker ball pitcher. Westbrook uses a changeup to hitters from both sides of the plate. Southpaws will likely see the sinker and change from Cleveland's third starter, which is probably a reason they hit 288/365/415. RHB need to be concerned about Westbrook's tough slider. They only managed a 158 average against the pitch and hit 263/310/356 overall. It may be a tough day for the Sox infielders.

2) This could be the night that Cleveland's infield defense let's them down. Here comes Jhonny!

3) And the last most important key to Game 3: which Dice-K shows up? It is the $100 million question and possibly the key to the pennant.

CLEVELAND

The Sox are heading to the Mistake By the Lake. Cleveland doesn't rock any longer. It is now a punch line on 30 Rock.
