ABOUT LAST NIGHT - TRIPLE PLAY

* Finally, the Sox got some clutch hits at the end of the game - Mike Lowell, Tek, and Coco. It was about time!

* Jon Lester finally pitched up to all the hype he has received over the last few years. His curveball was a plus pitch last night with the his other three - the fastball, cutter and change - all having their moments. It is a good sign. A solid Lester will be a big plus for the Sox.

* J.D. Drew needs to be platooned. Are you f$@king kidding me? Drew is so poor versus southpaws that Francona finds it more tolerable to start WMP in the toughest right field in the league. WMP in the field is like playing with fire. At some point, you are going to get burnt.
