TRIPLE PLAY AND A B-BALL RUMBLING

* Even though it is in the hitter freaky friendly Cal League, Bubba Bell's 21 homers and 46/35 BB/K ratio scream send me to Maine. At 24, Bell needs to move up so that the Sox can determine if he is for real.

* It is highly doubtful that the Sox are going to get a player in July that makes us go f@#kin'-A right because the big three are going nowhere, for now...this winter could be another story if this guy is available.

* A complementary player could be acquired in the infield (Mark Loretta) that can play multiple positions and a right-hander (Joaquin Benoit) out of the pen.

* Since 1980, I believe only eight of the 27 NBA Champs have won without an All-Star Center. Six of those were MJ's Bulls and those terrible Pistons team back in the early 90's. Paul Pierce, Ray Allen or Al Jefferson is no MJ - two out of 27.
