DICE-K! DICE-K! DICE-K!
The line was more impressive than the show. It never seemed like Dice-K was dominating but it could be his way. Time will tell.
In other news...
* Oprah will buy the Cubs. She is from Chicago and the Cubs can expand and diversify here media empire.
* The InDemand-MLB deal was about the cable companies getting a piece of the upcoming The Baseball Channel. It was not about putting it on the basic tier. It was always about how our monthly subscriber fees would be split. Also, the deal would get done by mid-May. Time Warner, and to a lesser extent, Liberty Media would get this deal done because Bud Selig would not approve their huge asset/Braves/stock swap before the tax benefit expires. He likely used this as additional leverage in the TBS/Time Warner TV deal too. Bud has earned his millions by making the owners billions.
