Both N.L. Central teams have automatic outs at short, are in full win now mode and A-Hole is a short-term commitment with the potential to pay for himself. The former shortstop would be a huge upgrade for either club. The Cubs or Astros could trade prospects to the Royals or White Sox. Each A.L. Central team wants to open up the hot corner for their third base prospect – Alex Gordon and Josh Fields.
