WEEK THREE - GAME NOTES
*Troy Brown is the “decider” on punt returns. Whenever the possibility that a ball could come close to the end zone, Troy Brown is back. Denver could have used a guy like Troy instead of Williams.
*Plummer threw a great ball for a TD on a gutsy call when it was 3-1. Hobbs had good coverage on Walker.
*How many kicks did Adam have blocked?
*The Pats secondary still can’t tackle. It is two weeks and counting.
*Doug Gabriel made a great leaping all hands catch on a bullet pass for a TD.
*The Pats lost this game because they could not control the line of scrimmage. Denver ran all over the front seven to a tune of 144 yards, and the Pats could not run at all.
***
Since the Sox season is officially over - no October baseball, it is an appropriate time to take a look back and check ahead on the potential winter activity. A series of posts will begin this week on our Sox.
