TRADE RUMOR UPDATE - COREY IS A RED SOX AND LORETTA IS LIKELY TO STAY
The Sox acquired Bryan Corey for the struggling AA pitcher, Luis Mendoza. Hopefully, we won't see Corey with the big club until September and never on the mound.
Even though Mark Loretta is out of tonight's lineup, he is unlikely to be dealt since Belliard was sent to Cards. St. Louis was the only logical destination for Loretta. This may now end the Sox talks with the DRays for Julio Lugo.
