HAS BEENS OR NEVER WERES
How great is it that Terrence Long is in a MFY uniform? He and his 319 OBP for a corner infielder is just so nice. Ca$hman and company are inking every hitter that had at least one good day in the Show, and stuffing them in AAA - Carlos Pena, Erubiel Durazo, Richard Hidalgo and soon to be ex-MFY and 'roids user, Matt Lawton. Looks like desperation to me. Too bad their record doesn't match their actions.
As for Schilling, Tito said it best...
``I thought he threw excellent. His split was very good. When he has his good split, it just makes it easier for him to be effective. He can be effective, but he has to work harder when he doesn't have that split."
Maybe, it is not the quantity of splits, but the quality - only time will tell.

All right folks, this is not an ad. I am not getting paid to do this. I just believe in the product and know that this would be a win-win for both you and me.
ING DIRECT is a great on-line bank. I have been using them for over five year now for my savings, CD and mutual fund needs. Basically, they provide some of the best returns on your money in the industry, currently a 4.15% annual yield on a basic saving account, because they have very little overhead - no walls, no bricks, no rent. The ING Direct account interacts with your regular checking account to transfer funds back and forth seemlessly without any security concerns.
Right now, if you open an account with at least $250, ING will deposit a $25 bonus in your new account and a $10 thank you bonus in my Orange Savings Account. It's a great deal! Shot me an email and I'll refer you, so you can get $25 for just signing up to take advantage of ING Direct's great interest rates.
$hit after reading that it sounds like a freakin' commerical - my bad. Anyway, this is great deal.
