Vince Gennaro has recently finished a five part series for Hardball Times that estimates the marginal revenue associated with a player’s on-field performance. He walks the reader through the analysis step by step that leads to his finding that a player’s marginal revenue”…is dependent on his performance, his team and their market and the team’s level of competitiveness.”

Vince was nice enough to take a few questions that will be posted tomorrow. I highly encourage reading the articles before the Q&A – Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Postseason Effect, and the Last Piece of the Puzzle.
