MANNY NOT REPORTING…
…until March, should not be an issue.
In article XIV of the CBA, “No Player shall be required to report for spring training workouts more than thirty-three (33) days prior to the start of the championship season…”
Hence, Manny or any other Red Sox player does not need to report, until guess when…March 1st. It surprises me that nearly all of the players leave their homes and families to show up to work before they are required. As for the team thing, everyone is aware that Manny still wants out so why would he show up before he has agreed to. Manny is finally making sense.
