LACK OF LUCK
It is a game of inches. Last season, Tony Clark's hit down the right field line that fell into the stands allowed the Sox to win the game, the ALCS and the World Fu&*ing Series. To date, it hasn't gone the Sox way - Nixon just missing a homer, Rowand's double bouncing around in the left field corner, the early called strikes Contreras got, and of course, Grafs' error. If things don't change today, I'll be heading out this weekend looking for dry leaves to start up the hot stove.
Okay that was Mr. Ghost; this is intoxicated El Guapo. Freakin' Francoma sticking with Clement, Olerud versus Jenks when Millar has always hit against fastball pitchers, and getting totally over matched by Ozzie or Tony Montana. Francoma is the opposite of Scarface's older bro, Sonny, or is he really the other Corleone son, Fredo. Damn, I am screwing up my movie references. Renteria is killing me slowly like post-wrist injury Nomar. Each error, first pitch swinging weak out, and seeing him in the two-hole is just as taxing on my body as a pack a day. And where did the offense that made pitchers $hit their pants? No runs offs Buehrle in the fifth, sixth or seventh innings is inexcusable. The offense has gotten worse every year since 2003. I swear, after Renteria’s first pitch swinging game ending out with da Man - Big Papi - on deck, the voice from Mortal Combat came through the speakers “Finish Him.” Renteria makes the voices in my head get louder and louder; “kill or be killed.” Three more years of this $hit will be my end.

Hmm... wish that history was repeating there though...
