After crunching some numbers, I think it is possible for the Sox to pay $25M for A-Hole just by raising ticket prices and NESN ad rates.

Lowell - $9M
NESN - $1M
Tickets - average increase $5 * 3.0M attendance = $15M

The Sox acquiring A-Hole will likely come down to length of contract as it might cost the Sox an opportunity to sign C.C. Sabathia, Johan Santana, Miguel Cabrera, etc. in the future.


After Sunday’s season opener of Curb, it has already tied Entourage for the number of good episodes this year (both clips NSFW).
