TIME WILL TELL
A 500 record out west is fine. The Sox need to take care of business - winning these next two series - against the O’s and Rays and everything should be fine rolling into the “surging” MFY at the end of the month - their run differential always indicated the MFY were a playoff contending club. But I don't see them gaining much ground on the Olde Towne Team before heading to the beautiful like a $hit hole Bronx.
***
It would not surprise me to see David Wells sign with the MFY. Boomer is not going to want to go out like that in San Diego. The southpaw would allow the MFY to move Phillip Hughes to the pen. Hughes and the other top prospect, Joba da Hut, could then form the bridge to Rivera or they could fall on their face.
