WALK AWAY ON J.D. DREW
The Sox seem to have an out on J.D. Drew and they should take it.
Drew took the physical shortly after the announcement of the deal in Orlando, but sources have told me that Drew showed problems in his shoulder that “could shut down his power.”
No power should equal no deal. Down the road, pitchers will adjust by challenging him more often and his OBP will eventually drop along with his SLG. Theo just walk away.
