MY APOLOGIES BUT ANOTHER POST ON POLITICS
“This shows what blind loyalty to George Bush and being his love child means,” said Representative Rahm Emanuel of Illinois, the leader of the Democratic House Congressional campaign.
Emanuel is all over Lieberman in this political WWE event. As Joe lays on the canvas, after being pinned by Rahm's tag team partner, Ned Lamont, Emanuel feverously kicks the last of Joementum out of Lieberman. Damn, that is one great line. Whoever wrote that is one talented SOB or DOB.
In all seriousness, I want Lieberman to stay in the race so the liberal wing of the Democratic Party can take him down and control the Party for 2008. A three-way win would shift the Party. A 52% primary victory is not a mandate, which will be necessary to win back the Party and give the Dems the best shot at winning in 2008. The only real way for the Ds to win a general election is to cast a wider net to the left bringing in new voters like the far right did starting back in 1994. It's all about turnout now and in 2008.
