THE NUMBERS IN PHILLY
Youkilis should sit tonight with Mike Lowell hitting a 286/375/714 against Jon Leiber in 21 at-bats. Big Papi should see the bench too as J.T. Snow has killed Leiber; hitting 324/343/618 in 34 abs. Lowell should take his turn tomorrow against Brett Myers since he has been terrible going 167/259/292 in 24 tries. Big Papi should eat up the control pitcher Cory Lidle on Sunday and either Lowell or Youk would be fine on the hot corner. We'll see if Tito goes by the numbers.
